This Natural Cottage Cheese is a delicious cottage cheese with an amazing flavour. Considered the ‘English Original’ of all cottage cheeses, it is high in protein and utterly lovely. The history of cottage cheese is a bit of a mystery. At some point, it crossed the Atlantic to the United States and became hugely popular. After a while, the switch was made from a sweet to a soured-cream dressing and so was created English-Style Cottage Cheese: born and bred at Longley Farm.
Longley Farm based in Holmfirth Yorkshire, perhaps best known as the location for the 80’s TV series 'The Last of the Summer Wine', has been producing prize-winning yoghurt, milks and creams for over 40 years. The range includes natural and bio, fruit and plain yoghurts. Their famous fruit yoghurts are free from additives, preservatives or colour. Blending their unique production methods to produce 'real' yoghurt, fresh single, double cream, cottage cheeses or milk.
Chilled in-store and ready to eat. Not suitable for home freezing.
