At The Green Berry, we're always happy to answer any questions you may have. To make things quicker and easier for you, please see our FAQs below where you may find your query answered.

In the instance we weren’t able to deliver to you or you had some missing items, please check your order section of your online account. Your refund will appear here. There may be a delay in the order status updating in your account, so we thank you for your patience.

  • Do I have to register before I can shop?

    Yes, we will need to set up an account for your household.

    This is so that we can obtain your delivery address and secure payment details. However, please feel free to have a browse around the shop before registering.

  • Help, I’ve forgotten my password…

    Please don’t worry, it happens to all of us!

    When you try to log in, select the 'Forgotten your password?' link. Follow the instructions and we'll email you a secure link so you can reset your password. Alternatively, pop an email to info@thegreenberry.co.uk and we'll do all we can to help.

  • How do I update my details?

    Simply log in to your account and go to your “Profile” via the icon in the top left of the screen. Here you will be able edit any details.

  • Where do you deliver?

    We deliver everywhere in the UK, excluding Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands and the Channel Islands.

  • Where is my delivery?

    We use DPD to courier your delivery out to you. You will receive an email along with a one-hour time slot once your delivery is with the courier. If your box has not arrived within this time frame please check the link in your email to track your delivery.

  • What happens if I’m not at home for my delivery?

    We want to make your life simpler and don’t believe in having you wait around for your order. If you are not going to be in, then DPD will allow you to select your preferred delivery option and you will be able to either:

    - Leave at specified neighbour's address.

    - Leave in a designated safe space.

    - Deliver on a different date.

    - Collect your box from a local DPD drop off point.

    How do I add or update my delivery instructions?

  • What do you charge for delivery?

    Our Next Business Day service is free.

    If you select our premium Express Saturday Service, you'll be charged a fee of £6.99 at checkout.

  • Can I choose my delivery day and time?

    Yes, you are able to choose the delivery date, and you can track, and you will receive a one hour time slot once your box is with our courier.  If you order by 2pm, we aim to dispatch your order the same day and deliver within 1-2 business days as detailed here.

  • What payment methods can I use?

    We accept payment with Google Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay or all major credit or debit cards.

  • What is your refunds policy?

    If any products arrive damaged, incorrect or are not what you expected please do not hesitate to get in touch at info@thegreenberry.co.uk. We will endeavour to resolve this as quickly as possible and will refund where appropriate.

    Refunds are managed via our payment providers (Stripe or PayPal). These will be processed and should reach your account within 5-8 days although it's usually much quicker than this!

  • If you’re struggling to place your order

    Here are a couple of common issues, but if the below doesn't help - just give us a call and we'll answer any questions you may have.

    You can shop by browsing a particular aisle i.e., Fresh Produce, Food Cupboard, Drinks, Alcohol, Laundry, Household and Cleaning, Toiletries and Health, Baby, Child & Parent, Pet Essentials

    Or you can browse our range depending on your lifestyle i.e., gluten free, carbon neutral, cruelty free, vegan, refills or organic!

    You can search for by brand by clicking on the brand name above the product listing description & this will show all products available from that brand.

    Or you can use the search function to search for a particular brand or item you're looking for.

    You can then add items to your favourites by tapping the heart button in the top right-hand corner of a product so they're easier to find next time around.

  • Do you send substitutions?

    If for any reason we are out of stock of any of your ordered items, we will not replace them with substitutions without discussing with you first. If this happens, we will be in touch via email.

  • Is there a minimum spend?

    Our minimum order spend is £40 for Nationwide deliveries, or deliveries outside of our local area of 10 miles from our store.  We introduced a minimum order spend to ensure that our service is as environmentally friendly as possible. With a minimum spend, we'll be able to deliver fewer half-empty boxes that require excess packaging to protect them in transit. Less packaging means less for you to pop in your recycling bins too!

    Please know that there may be different minimum spends associated with any discount codes. Always check the terms and conditions.

  • How do I edit or cancel my order?

    As we send our orders on speedy next-day delivery services, you are currently unable to cancel your order once it has been confirmed.

    If you have placed an order in error, please let us know at info@thegreenberry.co.uk and we'll do everything we can to help resolve the situation for you.

  • How do I enter my discount code?

    You can enter your discount code at checkout - the discount code box is on the payment page as per the screenshot below:


  • Where can I find my order details?

    Simply log in and go to ‘Orders’. Here you will see all your current and previous order details. Once your order is placed you will automatically receive an email with your ordered items for you to view.

  • Do your products have expiry dates and how can I find out?

    When purchasing a product at The Green Berry, we will always aim to ensure you receive the maximum shelf life available to us and depending on the product, the best before date can range from years to months. Please also be aware that the date displayed is the very minimum shelf life guaranteed by our suppliers.

    In our fight against food waste, we are putting together our ‘Too Good to Go’ category, where you'll be able to find items at a discounted price that will be much closer or just past their best before dates.

    You may also notice that some products in this category will have a few months left until their best before date, this will happen when we are carrying a bit too much stock on our hands and want to ensure that all stock goes to a good home.

    If you're wondering about a specific item’s best before date, reach out to our Sales Team and we can investigate this for you.

  • Can I place my order over the phone?

    Unfortunately, we do not take orders over the phone. If you need some help with the ordering process, please get in touch at info@thegreenberry.co.uk.

  • Help! My discount code isn't working!

    Have you met the voucher's minimum spend?

    Is your voucher still in date?

    Please check to ensure your voucher hasn't expired!

    If you've checked all the above and your discount code still won't apply, don’t worry, please reach out to our Sales Team and we'll help you through any issues.

  • What packaging do you use?

    We use 100% FSC approved recycled boxes and recycled packaging.

    Currently, we're recycling all the cardboard cartons that our suppliers send to us and shredding these to use as void fill & while this may seem excessive, we'd rather reuse than purchase brand new crinkle cut paper! (Please know that this can sometimes be a little dusty).

  • Is The Green Berry carbon-neutral?

    We our working towards being 100% Carbon Neutral by 2024.  

    We also are careful with our couriers. We use DPD and other responsible couriers who share the same values, & who are both committed to ensuring every delivery is carbon neutral. They stive to continually measure their CO2 emissions, work to reduce them, and offset the remaining ones where needed.
